Orontes IV

Orontes was probably a descendant of the Orontes III. (probably the great-grandson ) and Hydarnes and by 200 BC, the first detectable independent rulers in Eastern Armenia. Eastern Armenia was the nucleus of a large - Armenian Empire. According to an inscription from Armavir ruled Orontes temporarily along with his descendant (probably grandson) and later Reich founder Artaxias I. together and still under Seleucid sovereignty satrapy of Eastern Armenia.
