Orphne

Gorgyra (Greek: Γοργύρα ) is a river in Greek mythology nymph ( naiad ), which begat the underworld demon Askalaphos with the river god Acheron. Askalaphos, which was the fruit gardener of the pluton revealed later this the secret of how you can keep trapped in Hades Persephone by eating the heart of a pomegranate ( Libraries of Apollodorus, 1,5,3 ). For this he was transformed by her mother Demeter in an owl.

According to Ovid (Met., 5.539 ), however Orphne is the mother of Askalaphos, which is why they often holds for one and the same nymph.
