Þorrablót

The Thorra blot ( Old Norse Þorra - blót ) is a North Germanic festival of sacrifice, celebrated in the last month of winter " Thorri ".

The tradition of Þorra - blót was revived in Iceland of the 19th century and is now a part of the Icelandic folk culture and is celebrated with many festive customs.
