Ōryōki

Oryoki (Japanese応 量器) is a contemplative, stylized form of the common interest. It comes from the tradition of Zen monasteries. Oryoki can be " appropriate to the occasion " translated. Except in the monastic context you practice this form of meditation even at sesshin or retreat.

The ritual protocol writes every device and every action before, during and after the meal precise. During the time of eating there is silence. Participants are encouraged to dine with perfect mindfulness.
