Osama Mazini

Usama al - Mazini ( Osama Mazini ) is a religious and political leader of Hamas, the Palestinian militant and political organization with a connection to the military wing of the Qassam Brigades, with doctorates and its own mosque.

Mazini was the responsible negotiator in the hostage-taking of Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit. He presented the opening of borders and the end of the blockade in connection with the resumption of the negotiations for the release of Gilad Shalit. As a reaction to the violation of the ceasefire in 2008, he stated that the fact of the ceasefire on Gaza, have no meaning, so long as Palestinian blood in the West Bank would be allowed. There were free the Izz ad-Din al- Qassam Brigades and other organizations to respond to Israeli attacks in the West Bank. He said it was to consider, to begin the ceasefire due to the imposed on the Gaza Strip blockade in Gaza. February 19, 2007 Mazini shared his position to Mecca Agreement from the perspective of Hamas, in which he pointed out that he " will recognize the state of this entity [ Israel ] ."
