Oscar Isaac

Oscar Isaac ( born January 5, 1980 in Guatemala as Oscar Isaac Hernandez ) is an American film and theater actor Guatemalan origin.

Life

Oscar Isaac is the son of a Cuban and a Guatemalan who grew up in Miami ( Florida) and was a strict Catholic upbringing. He also has Israeli and French roots.

In his youth, Isaac was a member of The Blinking Underdogs, although he hardly gained national fame with her. Through his love of acting, he attended then the Juilliard School, where he graduated in 2005. His film debut was in 2002 action movie All About the Benjamins on the side of spectacle the likes of Ice Cube and Mike Epps.

He became famous in 2006 when he filming in the Bible it came to pass at the time ... Joseph, the foster father of Jesus embodied. For his performance he was awarded in 2007 as part of the Movie Guide Awards with Grace Award.

In the 2013 released movie of the Coen Brothers, Inside Llewyn Davis, Isaac plays the lead role of dauermelancholischen folk singer Llewyn Davis, who is on the search for meaning in life. The film was presented at the Cannes Film Festival in 2013 and received positive feedback.
