Oscar Mina

Oscar Mina (* September 24 1958 in Serravalle ) is a politician from San Marino. He was from 1 April to 1 October 2009, together with Massimo Cenci Capitano Reggente (Head of State ) of San Marino.

Life

Oscar Mina graduated in 1979 with a degree in electrical engineering and then studied political science at the University of Urbino. Since 1979 he is an employee in the public service of San Marino in the water and gas supply. Mina is single and lives in Serravalle.

Policy

Mina came in 1998 when the Christian Democratic PDCS. He was in the Consiglio Grande e Generale, the parliament of San Marino, elected in 2006 and 2008. From 2006 to 2007 he was a member of the Finance Committee and the Inter-Parliamentary Commission. Since 2007 he has been in the Judiciary Committee. Mina was elected to the Consiglio dei XII 2008. He is a member since 2008 of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, since 2009 he has headed the delegation sanmarinesische. Mina is since 2008 Deputy Leader of the PCDS. For the period from 1 April 2009 to 1 October 2009 Oscar Mina the Head of State of San Marino was elected together with Massimo Cenci to Capitano Reggente. On 28 April 2011, he was the successor to the retiring Alessandro Scarano sindaco di Governo.
