Oscar Muller

Oscar Muller ( born July 28, 1957 in Rosario, Argentina; † August 19, 2005 in Saint- Denis, Reunion) was a French football player.

Muller was born the son of Argentine soccer player Ramon Muller. In 1973, he joined the French first division club FC Nantes. There he witnessed among the coaches José Arribas and Jean Vincent its most successful period in the late 1970s and early 1980s. With the club he was in 1977, 1980 and 1983 French champion. In 1979 he also won the Coupe de France, the French Cup with Nantes. Overall, Muller played in 213 first division matches in his career, in which he scored 29 goals.

His active career, he graduated in 1990 and moved to the island of Réunion, where he worked as a coach at various clubs.

On August 14, 2005 Muller was severely injured when he was hit by a motorcycle. Five days later he succumbed to his injuries in hospital in the capital.
