Osian's Cinefan Festival of Asian and Arab Cinema

Osian 's Cinefan is a Film Festival of Asian and Arab film. It takes place every year since 1999 in July in the Indian capital New Delhi place.

The since 1988 in New Delhi, edited, published quarterly film magazine Cinemaya initiated the first festival in 1999. It is presented by the Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema ( NETPAC ) and supports the Government of Delhi. The focus of the first festival was the Japanese film and the Indian art film.

Since 2004, the festival also of Osian 's Connoisseurs of Art is supported and is called Osian's - Cinefan. Festival Director is the Cinemaya - editor and president of Aruna Vasudev NETPAC.

Prizes will be awarded by an international jury in several categories. Of independent juries also awarded NETPAC and FIPRESCI prizes.
