The Oskava ( German Oskawa ) is a left tributary of the Morava River in the Czech Republic.

Geography

It rises five kilometers east of Hraběšice in Rabenseifener Bergland ( Hraběšická Highlands ), a part of the Hanns villages highlands, on the southeast slope of the Kamenný vrch ( 955 m) in 831.1 m above sea level. NN from multiple source streams. To the north lies the Skřítek saddle with the same peat bog, which is, however, creek drains into the creek Podolský from Zlatý. On Rabštejn (803 m) flows past the creek through the mountain forests to the south. On another run in southwestern and south lie the towns of Bedřichov, Oskava, Nemrlov, Dolni Libina and Hradec. Below Šumvald feeds the Oskava the fish pond fishpond Hruby. About Plíškův Mlýn, Valcha Nová Dědina, Fojtský Mlýn, Dolni Sukolom, Uničov, Brníčko and Dětřichov the Oskava flows into the Marc Hebene. Here she performs part of their water voda on the treti and Kobylnik the northwest trending Benkovský stream towards. The more run via Pňovice, Boudy, Krnov, Jílkov, Liboš, Štěpánov and Benátky to Březce. Below the village Březce the river is crossed by the railway line between Mohelnice and Olomouc. This is followed on the right side of the quarry Chomoutovské Lake. In Chomoutov the Oskava opens to the 50.29 km at 213.3 m above sea level. NN in the March.
