Oslograben

The grave education falls within the period of the Variscan orogeny and begins in the late Carboniferous. In Perm, the landscape fell off and it was the primary shaping by volcanic cap rock, as evidenced for example in basaltic rock types and porphyritic rocks like Rhombenporphyren and ignimbrites.

In the course of this intense volcanic development, several calderas that are no longer recognizable, however, in the countryside on morphological features formed. Other rare minerals such as nepheline syenite, Tinguait, Nordmarkit, Ekerit, syenite ( Larvikite ) and Tönsbergit as the red variety are open here. Some of these localities are internationally known and significant.

The activity ended with uplift and intrusions by about 65 million years ago in the early Triassic.
