Osmo Soininvaara

Osmo Soininvaara ( born September 2, 1951 in Helsinki) is a Finnish politician.

Soininvaara studied statistics at the University of Helsinki and worked as a statistician. In 1985 he was elected for the party Green Alliance in the Helsinki City Council. From 1987 to 2007 was deputy Soininvaara this party in the Finnish Parliament from 2001 to 2005 he was chairman of the party. The Cabinet of Paavo Lipponen, he was one of 14 April 2000 to 19 April 2002, as Minister of Health.

Soininvaara wrote several books. He is married and has three children.
