Österreichischer Schriftstellerverband

The Austrian Writers' Association ( Austrian Ski Federation ) was founded in 1945 as one of the first Austrian professional associations after the end of World War II. Concern of the association are the encounter of the authors and the exchange of ideas with the audience. Dual affiliation with other literary associations, such as PEN and Grazer Autorenversammlung are possible. The Association has its headquarters in Vienna. Longtime Chairman of the Austrian Ski Federation was Alfred Warnes. Since the spring of 2009, Sidonia Gall is Chairman.

Periodically, organized by the Austrian Ski Federation readings in the House of Literature Vienna. Twice a year, the magazine Literary Austria appears with essays and book reviews. The following anthologies of texts of the members were issued:

Twice have been advertised by the Austrian Ski Federation Literary Awards:
