Osterwieck-Fallstein

The administrative community Osterwieck Fallstein was an administrative community in the district of Harz, in Saxony- Anhalt. She had eight member municipalities with a total of 12,591 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2006) on a total area of ​​212.69 km ². My seat was the city Osterwieck.

The administrative community extends from the Great Rift, on the border with Lower Saxony through the highest part of the case up to the stone of the Harz mountains to the valleys of the floodplain and Ilse.

Your predecessor was the administrative community Osterwieck, which was extended on 1 January 2005 the municipality of Aue- Fallstein and therefore renamed. On 1 January 2010, all member municipalities merged to form the new city Osterwieck.
