Osvald Käpp

Osvald Käpp ( born February 17, 1905 in Tallinn, † December 22, 1995 in New York City, United States) was an Estonian wrestler.

Osvald Käpp learned the rings in a sports club Kalev Tallinn. Already at the age of 19 he competed for Estonia at the Olympic Games in Paris and took there the eighth. From there began a very successful international career. The highlight was his Olympic victory in 1928 in Amsterdam. 1929 emigrated Käpp to the United States, but struggled at the Olympic Games 1932 in Los Angeles again for Estonia.
