Osvald Polívka

Osvald Polivka ( born May 24, 1859 in Enns, † April 30, 1931 in Prague) was a Czech architect of the Neo-Renaissance and Art Nouveau. He designed many public buildings and apartment buildings in Prague.

Polivka studied with Josef Zítek and was his assistant from 1885 to 1889. Antonín Wiehl he designed the Palais Pražská Městská spořitelna, today's Ministry of Urban Development, with Antonín Balšánek the Prague Municipal House ( Municipal House ), where he designed the interior especially.
