Osvaldo Ardiles

Osvaldo César Ardiles ( born August 3, 1952 in Córdoba ) is a former Argentine football player and current coach.

Career as a football player

Ardiles was in the 1970s one of the best defensive midfielders in the world and has been with Argentina 1978 soccer World Cup. Ardiles, who attracted attention by its very rough play in the 1978 World Cup, moved to the soccer World Cup 1978 to England Tottenham Hotspur and became one of the most popular players in the English First Division, which also did not change, when the UK with Argentina was in the Falklands War.
