The Graduate School of Otaru (Japanese小樽 商科 大学, Otaru Shōka daigaku, English Otaru University of Commerce, in short. OUC ) is a public university in Japan. The main campus is located in Otaru, Hokkaido.

History

The university was founded in 1910 as a commercial college Otaru (小樽 高等 商业 学校, Otaru Kōtō shōgyō Gakko ) founded the fifth state commercial college ( or trade college, jap Kōtō shōgyō Gakko ) in Japan to Tokyo ( 1887), Kobe (1902 ), Yamaguchi (February 1905) and Nagasaki ( March 1905 ). Before the Pacific War, there was no Humanities or Social Sciences University in Hokkaido, so was the commercial college as the only institution of higher learning in the study areas. In 1944, she was in business school Otaru (小樽 経 済 専 门 学校, Otaru keizai Semmon Gakko ) renamed.

In 1949 she became the Graduate School of Otaru. In 1971 she founded the Graduate School ( Master's degree programs; promotion since 2007). In 1997, she sat in Sapporo a satellite campus of the Graduate School for the businessmen.
