Otho Lovering

Otho Lovering Scott ( born December 1, 1890 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, † October 25, 1968 in Santa Monica, California ) was an American editor.

Life

Otho S. Lovering, son of Frank and Georgie Lovering grew, with his three younger sisters Caroline (* 1892), Ethel (* 1895) and Mildred (* 1899) in Baltimore County in the U.S. state of Maryland. Very early he came into contact with the cinematography. In the census of 1910, he gave as a profession "Operator Moving Pict. " To. As early as 1917 Lovering was listed as "Film Printing foreman" at the Vitagraph. In the early 1920s he was responsible for the editing of some silent films under the name Otto Lovering. Lovering probably died of a ruptured aorta.
