Otis Harris

Otis Harris (born 30 June 1982 Edwards, Mississippi) is an American track and field athlete and Olympic champion season.

His biggest international success get to him at the 2004 Olympics in Athens. In the 400 - meter race, he won the silver medal. Three times the U.S. triumph in this discipline completed Jeremy Wariner ( gold) and Derrick Brew (bronze). In the 4 x 400 - meter relay, he won the U.S. team gold.

Even in his school days at the Hinds High School, he achieved success in running competitions. He twice won the U.S. Junior Olympics in the 400 -meter run, won at the Foot Locker Outdoor Championships and the Golden West Invitational. In 2000 he moved to the University of South Carolina.
