Geography

Ottenhofen located in the Munich region in the valley of Sempt about 11 km south of the district town of Erding, 23 km from Munich Airport, 26 km west of Villages, 18 km north of Ebersberg and 28 km from the state capital of Munich. The municipality owns on the railway line Markt Schwaben - Erding a breakpoint of the Munich S-Bahn, which trains at 20- minute intervals usually offer good access to the city center.

History
