Otterstedt ( Low German Otter ') is a town in the northern district of Verden in Lower Saxony. In addition to the districts of Otter mountain, Fischerhude Quelkhorn, Narthauen and Posthausen Otterstedt unit belongs to the Borough Otter mountain.

Strongly influenced by agriculture is an essential feature of Otterstedt. The surrounding countryside with its picturesque alder and oak-lined Pastorensee - also called Otterstedter Lake - satisfies the conditions of recreation in particular.

By Otterstedt the Beeke, which divides the local situation of the beginning of settlement in two parts of the village flows.
