Otterthal is a municipality with 596 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in the district of Neunkirchen in Lower Austria.


Otterthal located in the industrial district, in Lower Austria. The area of ​​the municipality covers 6.18 square kilometers. 61.72 percent of the area is forested.

Mayor of the municipality is Karl Mayerhofer (ÖVP ) Vice Mayor Leopold Rennhofer (ÖVP ), Office Manager Gerhard Prix. In the council there after the municipal elections of 2010 a total of 15 seats following distribution of seats: 10 List ÖVP, SPÖ 5, no other seats.
