Ottó Boros

Ottó Boros (* August 5, 1929 in Békéscsaba, † December 18, 1988 in Szolnok ) was a Hungarian water polo player.

Ottó Boros played 101 international matches for Hungary. He was with the Hungarian water polo team in 1956 and 1964 Olympic champion and won bronze at the Games in 1960. 1954, 1958 and 1962 Boros became European Champion with the Hungarian team.

After 1956, the Hungarian national uprising was brutally suppressed, Boros was one of five players, who returned to the Olympics in 1956 immediately after Hungary.
