Otto Fridolinus Fritzsche

Otto Fridolin Fritzsche ( born September 23, 1812 in Dobrilugk; † March 9, 1896 in Zurich ) was a German Protestant theologian and son of Christian Friedrich Fritzsche ( 1776-1850 ).

After attending high school in Halle ( Saale) and the study since 1831 habilitated Fritzsche 1836. He followed in 1837 a call to Zurich, where he was professor of theology in 1842 and with his father and brother Fritzschiorum opuscula Academica (1838 ) published. 1866/67 he served as rector.

His work and research area presented Biblical exegesis and church history dar.
