Otto Röhr

Otto Rohr (Franz Hermann Otto Rohr, born November 22, 1881 in Magdeburg, † January 8, 1972 in Arnsberg ) was a German athlete.

At the Olympic Games in Stockholm in 1912 he exhibited in the 4 x 100 meters relay together with Max Herrmann, Erwin core and Richard Rau the first official world record in this discipline ( 42.3 s ). In the final, however, the German quartet was disqualified after a change of error. Rohr also launched in the high jump, where he was eliminated in the qualifying, and in the decathlon, where he gave up after four disciplines.

1915 and 1919 he became German champion in the 110- meter hurdles.

Otto Rohr started for the SC Charlottenburg and the Dortmunder SC 1895.
