Otto Sutermeister

Friedrich Gottlieb Otto Suter Champion ( born September 27, 1832 in Tegerfelden; † August 18, 1901 in Aarau ) was a Swiss pedagogue who, besides Ludwig Bechstein, one of the most important European folk tale collector was.

Biography

After attending high school in Aarau Otto Suter masters studied philology and German at the University of Zurich and then worked " as a teacher at private educational institutions " in the French-speaking Switzerland and in Paris.
