Otto Wilhelm Thomé

Otto Wilhelm Thomé (* 1840 in Cologne, † 1925) was a German botanist. Its official botanical author abbreviation is " Thomé ".

Otto W. Thomé was primarily known for his collection of botanical drawings Flora of Germany, Austria and Switzerland in words and pictures for school and home. The work includes 700 illustrations and was first released in 1885 in Gera. He was rector of the university Graduate School of Cologne (now Hansa School Cologne ) and the Albertus-Magnus -Gymnasium. He, as well as the entire business school, were members of the Cologne department of the German Colonial Society.
