Ouarzazate Province

Ouarzazate (Arabic إقليم ورززات, DMG Iflīm Warzazāt ) is a province in Morocco. It belongs to the region of Souss -Massa- Draâ and is located in the center of the country, between the southern slopes of the High Atlas and the Anti Atlas. The province has 496 536 inhabitants (2004 ) in 5 municipalities, two other central locations and 32 rural communities. The capital of the province is the same Ouarzazate.
