Oude IJsselstreek

Oude IJsselstreek is a municipality of the province of Gelderland. It was created on 1 January 2005 from the communities Gendringen and wiping. The new municipality has a total area of ​​137.87 km ² and counted on 1 January 2013, according to the CBS 39 775 inhabitants. Geography

It is a more rural, Catholic community with scattered industrial areas. The largest village is Ulft with ten thousand inhabitants. Other large seeds are Silvolde and Terborg and even farther afield, Protestant Varsseveld.

Policy
