Oudon

Oudon is a municipality with 3456 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Loire -Atlantique in the Pays de la Loire in western France.

Geography

Oudon located on the Loire River, about ten kilometers west of Ancenis and 30 kilometers east of Nantes. Direct neighboring municipalities are Le Cellier, Couffé, Saint- Géréon, on the opposite bank of the Loire Champtoceaux and drain. The municipal area Oudons includes the nearly three -kilometer-long island of the Loire Macrière.

Twinning

Since 1988 is twinned with the Rhineland-Palatinate community Simmertal.
