Oued ed Dahab-Lagouira

Oued ed Dahab - Lagouira (Arabic وادي الذهب لكويرة ) is the southernmost administrative region of the territory of Western Sahara which is claimed by Morocco. In the entire area of Oued ed Dahab - Lagouira 99 367 people ( 2004 census ) in a total area of ​​50,880 km ². For 2012 166.972 inhabitants were calculated.

The capital is Dakhla.

The region is bordered to the north by the Administrative Region Boujdour, to the south and east of Mauritania and to the west by the Atlantic Ocean. It consists of the following provinces:
