The Ounasjoki [ ɔu̯nɑsjɔki ] is a right tributary of Kemi, which rises in Finnish Lapland. He goes from the Ounasjärvi south of the village Hetta (Enontekiö ) out. From there, the Ounasjoki first flows towards the east, and then makes a sharp curve which makes the east of the Pallas- Ounastunturi massif to the southeast flow on him.
The Ounasjoki is one of the longest rivers in Finland, and ends in Rovaniemi in Kemi.
