Our-Lady Ter Hooyen

The ter Small Beginenhof Hoye ( in Flanders ter as small Begijnhof Onze Lieve - Vrouw - Hoyen or shortly Klein Begijnhof known ) is a Beguine convent in the Belgian city of Ghent; along with twelve other Flemish beguinages it belongs since 1998 as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

In Ghent 1242 was the first Begin settlement. This emerged from a 1236 already incurred Community. Later, the old houses were replaced by brick or stone buildings. In 1963 the plant was placed under protection. Since 1994, has been renovated.
