Ousmane Dabo

Ousmane Dabo (born 8 February 1977 in Laval Forcé ) is a French football player.

Career

The defensive midfielder began his football career in 1982 in the youth team of Forcé. His first major club was 1985-1990 Stade Laval. Between 1990 and 1995 Dabo played in the youth team of Stade Rennes. In 1995, the Frenchman was brought into the first team of Rennes.

After 40 successful competitive games he went to the Serie A Inter Milan. After only one year at Inter, he moved on loan to Vicenza Calcio. Dabos next club was FC Parma. 2000 was the Globetrotter further into the French top league for AS Monaco.

After the stay in the Principality we went back to Vicenza Calcio. From 2001 to 2003, the midfielder was at Atalanta Bergamo under contract.

Between 2003 and 2006, played Dabo at Lazio, where in 2004 he won the Coppa Italia.

Beginning of the 2006/07 season, the Frenchman moved into the English Premier League to Manchester City. On 3 May 2007, he was beaten hospitalized by his teammates Joey Barton in training. Then Barton was suspended. In January 2008, Ousmane Dabo returned to Lazio. There he achieved on 13 May 2009 the penalty for winning the Coppa Italia.

At the end of the 2009/10 season, his contract was not renewed and Dabo was without a club. Since February 8, 2011, he is in the squad of the New England Revolution.

Dabo has played three times in the French national football team.
