Outer space#Interplanetary

The interplanetary space ( interplanetary from Latin inter, " (da) between ", and Greek πλανήτης Planetes ) is the space that spreads between different planets. This space is due to the nearby planet filled with small bodies and gases, especially with interplanetary dust particles and the solar wind.

In addition to the basic meaning of the interplanetary space between two planets, the term is also commonly regarded as the space occupied by a planetary system. So missions of probes are called interplanetary space travel.

In the case of our solar system can be assumed as interplanetary border probably the Oort cloud. Here, however, the clarification of the status will bring some transneptunischer objects or clarity.
