Outotec

Outotec Oyj (formerly " Outokumpu Technology " ) is a Finnish company with headquarters in Espoo. The company is listed on the stock index OMX Helsinki 25. It provides technologies and services for the metals and mineral processing industries and is represented in over 20 countries worldwide. Outotec has specialized in manufacturing machinery and methods in the production process of metal and mineral production. An essential part of this portfolio are the procedures for processing or metallurgical processing of ferrous and non-ferrous ores and the production of sulfuric acid, sulfur trioxide (SO3 ) and sulfur dioxide (SO2 ), etc.

Outotec initially belonged to the Finnish company Outokumpu. In June 2006, Outotec was separated as an independent company and went public in Helsinki.
