Outsourced - In a roundabout way to happiness is an American feature film from the year 2006.

Action

Todd Anderson directs a call center in Seattle. The company sells a variety of American- patriotic kitsch products. His boss Dave tells him that the call center will be outsourced to India for cost reasons. Todd should merge the Indian staff and bring to an American level of performance. Todd flying to Mumbai and falls into a strange and chaotic world for him. His closest collaborator is Puro, who has already built up in the small town Gharapuri the call center. The Indian staff do their telephone sales calls in an average of 15 minutes. Todd will take them to an average of 6 minutes. First, Todd tries to get closer to the Indians the American culture and mentality. The Indians are to appear on the phone as Americans, because Americans just order patriotic articles reluctant abroad. The venture fails. Only the pretty Asha seems talented enough to satisfy the ideas Todd. She manages to convince him that he first must understand the Indian mentality and culture. On a business trip, the two spend a night together. But the couple has little chance of the future, as Asha has been promised as a wife since she was four. But try as much time as possible to spend with each other. Together, they finally make it to press also the working level to the required 6 minutes. However, Dave One day appear from Seattle. He is very pleased with Todd's performance, but tells him that the call center will be relocated because of the even cheaper wages to China. Todd is intended to Shanghai, there to achieve a similar increase in performance. However, he refuses to take the job. Instead Puro gets the chance of a lifetime. Todd returns to Seattle. In his old apartment, he gets a call from Asha. Todd is overjoyed ...
