The Ouvèze is a river in southern France, which runs in the regions of Rhône -Alpes and Provence- Alpes- Côte d' Azur. It rises in the municipality of Montauban- sur- l'Ouvèze at 840 meters above sea level, drained generally in a southwesterly direction and opens after 93 kilometers at Sorgue, on the northern boundary of the municipality of Avignon, a left tributary in a side arm of the Rhone. The Ouvèze flows through on its way to the Drôme Provençale and Vaucluse.
