OV Helsingborg HK

Olympic / Viking Helsingborg HK is a Swedish handball club of Helsingborg, which was founded in 1994 as an association of HF Olympia and Vikingarnas IF.

The first men's team played in the 2009/2010 season in the Elitserien, and rose as Table to Division 1 from. The women's team plays in Division 2

Vikingarnas IF ( Vikingarnas Idrottsförening ) was founded in 1941 in Helsingborg. The club won the Swedish championship in 1961 ( as a climber ) and 1967 and 1981. Most famous player was Rolf Almqvist. RF Olympia ( Olympia Handbollsföreningen ) was founded in 1963 as KFUM Helsingborg, 1971, the name Olympia was adopted. Two seasons later you belonged to the top division.
