Owase, Mie
Owase (Japanese尾 鹫 市, -shi) is a city in the Japanese prefecture of Mie.
Geography
Owase located south of Tsu and north of Kumano on the Pacific Ocean.
History
The city Owase was posted on June 20, 1954 from the former municipality Owase (尾 鹫 町, chō ), the villages Sugari (须 贺 利 村, -mura ) and Kyuki (九 鬼 村, -mura ) of the district Kitamura, as well as the villages Kitawanai (北 轮 内 村, -mura ) and Minamiwanai (南 轮 内 村, -mura ) of the district Minamimuro founded.
