Owen King

Owen Philip King ( born February 21, 1977 in Bangor, Maine) is an American writer.

Life

Owen King is the youngest of three children of Stephen and Tabitha King.

An avid baseball fan, graduated from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie and currently lives in Brooklyn. King writes mainly on short stories which have been published in magazines. Owen Philip King won several awards, including the " John Gardner Award for Short Fiction ."

He is married to the writer Kelly Braffet since March 2007.

Owen King had in his childhood a fondness for the game characters of the series " GI Joe". The manufacturer Hasbro named then one of these figures after him. Stephen King devoted his son the poem For Owen (German for Owen ), appeared in Stephen King's short story collection Skeleton Crew (German blood)
