Owen Pallett

Owen Pallett ( born September 7, 1979 in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada ) is a Canadian violinist and singer from Toronto (Ontario, Canada) and performed under the name Final Fantasy, a tribute to the eponymous video game series, in appearance by the end of 2009.

Final Fantasy

In his project Final Fantasy ( named for the computer game Final Fantasy) Owen Pallett is best known for his live performances. Using a loop station (a kind of sampler, which can be controlled with the feet), the sound of his violin be played with a time delay so that it can play different parts of his plays simultaneously.

He himself describes his homosexuality as a major influence on his music.

In December 2009, Pallett announced to stop using the name Final Fantasy and instead occur only under his real name and want to publish; Reprints of earlier publications were restated.
