History
1903 invented the trained glassblower Michael Joseph Owens the first automatic bottle blow. This invention led on the one hand establishing the Owens Bottle Company in the same year, they also revolutionized the glass industry.
1929 merged with the Owens Illinois Glass Company for the Owens- Illinois Glass Company. 1938, founded the joint venture with Corning Owens Corning.
