Oxford Township is one of 22 townships of Coshocton County in the U.S. state of Ohio. According to the census in 2000 1560 inhabitants were registered here.

Geography

Oxford Township is located in the southeast of Coshocton counties in east-central Ohio and bordered clockwise to the townships: Adams Township, Salem Township, Tuscarawas County, Oxford Township ( Tuscarawas County), Wheeling Township, Guernsey County, Linton Township, Lafayette Township and White Eyes Township.

Management

The township is administered by a Board of Trustees consisting of three elected members. Two persons are elected in the year after the presidential election and one each in the previous year. The term of office lasts four years, beginning on 1 January. There is also a Township Clerk ( responsible for finance and budget), which is also elected in the year before the presidential election to a four -year term. Whose term of office begins on April 1.
