Oxide & Neutrino

Oxide & Neutrino is a joint project of the British music DJ Alex Rivers (oxides ) and the rapper Mark Oseitutu ( neutrino ).

The two musicians met each other at a pirate radio station in London know. In April 2000, appeared under the title Bound 4 Da Reload ( Casualty ), the debut single of the duo. The piece contains samples of the title theme of the BBC medical drama Casualty. Oxide & Neutrino combined this breakbeats with Rap parts and electronic music, and so revolutionized the previous sound of the UK garage House.

The single reached number one on the British charts at once. Even the short time later published debut album Execute was a success.

2001 joined the two the garage collective So Solid Crew. A second album was released in October 2002.
