Oybek Mamazulunov

Oibek Mamasulunow (born 25 December 1989), Uzbek; Oybek Mamazulunov is an Uzbek amateur boxer.

Boxing career

Mamasulunow 2010 was the first time Uzbek champions, then still at middleweight. In July 2013 he started at light heavyweight at the 27th Asian Championships in Amman, Jordan. Through victories against Jagrup Singh from India (3-0), Sandagsuren Erdenebayar from Mongolia ( 3-0) and Anavat Thongkrathok from Thailand ( Ko), he reached the final, where he auspunktete Ädilbek Nijasymbetow from Kazakhstan scarce ( 2-1) and Gold won.

Then he took in October 2013 at the 17th World Championships in Almaty, Kazakhstan, in part. After another victory in the first round against the Mongols Sandagsuren Erdenebayar (3:0), he beat in the second round the Bosnians Džemal Bošnjak ( 3-0) and in the quarterfinals of the Dutchman Peter Müllberg (3-0). In the fight for the finals he lost this time the Kazakhs Ädilbek Nijasymbetow (0:3) and won bronze.
