Ozric Tentacles

The Ozric Tentacles are an English space rock band with strong psychedelic rock influences. Formed in 1984 in Somerset, England, and have published 29 albums to date (2007).

Their music is purely instrumental, a mixture of stylistic elements of psychedelic dub, psychedelic trance, psychedelic space rock, ambient and ethno. In her style electronic sounds as well as sounds of flutes, drums, a distorted electric guitar and other instruments glide smoothly into each other, or be woven into a dazzling tapestry of sound. Thus, a piece with a slow, spherical Dub Passage turn into hard rock, which is always surrounded by psychedelic sounds.

The Ozric Tentacles played in Germany, among others on the Burg- Herzberg Festival ( 2005). In the British scene they have earned in the corresponding circles cult status, among others. Numerous appearances at the famous for the great variety of music represented there and lifestyles Glastonbury Festival
