Pa Amadou Gai

Pa Amadou Gai (often only Gai Daddy, born June 18, 1984 in Bakau ) is a Gambian footballer who is employed by the ASC HLM from Senegal since 2010.



Pa Amadou Gai began his career in the youth of Bakau United, until he was hoisted into the professional team in 2005, where he played four seasons in the GFA League First Division. In the 2007 /08 season he was top scorer of his team, the 2008/ 09 season, he scored nine goals. On 15 April 2009, he completed a trial with Canadian club Montreal Impact.

There he was given a two- year contract and on May 2 against the Puerto Rico Islanders FC. After seven league games, his contract was, however, resolved on July 17 and Gai then moved to Ron Mango FC back to his homeland. In 2010 he left the club and moved to Senegal to ASC HLM.


Gai played for the U -17, U -20 and U-23 national teams from Gambia.
