Pa Phayom District
Pa Phayom ( Thai: ป่า พะยอม ) is the northernmost district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the province of Phatthalung. The Phatthalung Province is located in southern Thailand, about 840 km south of Bangkok on the Malay Peninsula.
Geography
Neighboring districts and territories ( from the southeast clockwise): Amphoe Khuan the Khanun and Si Banphot in the province of Phatthalung, Amphoe Huai Yot Trang province and Amphoe Cha- uat in the province of Nakhon Si Thammarat.
History
Pa Phayom was posted on January 19, 1990 initially as a sub-district ( King Amphoe ) was established by four Tambon were separated from Amphoe Khuan Khanun. On September 7, 1995 Pa Phayom got the full Amphoe status.
Education
In Amphoe Pa Phayom is a side campus of Thaksin University.
Management
Amphoe Srinagarindra is divided into four subdistricts ( tambon), which continued in 39 village communities ( Muban ) are divided.
There are also four " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
